I really want to go to Tikal, but what other activities can you do in the area aside from visiting the ruins?

katinka on Saturday, 17 April 2010 13:19Hi Enanito, There is a zipline at the entrance of Tikal National Park, it is really fun! Another attraccion is the wildlife there. Also there are many other ruins in the region like Yaxha which is truly amazing. As for tours you can do guided hikes, horseback riding, birding tours, swim in the lakes,and canoeing.
