On our way back to Mexico City from San Miguel we stopped in Bernal, a small town famous for La Pena of Bernal, a huge rock that people say has strange energies. Apparently there have been tons of UFO sightings and paranormal activity around there. It's the second largest monolith in the world and the fourth tallest. I really wanted to climb it but we didn't have the time that day. The town has a TON of shops, lots of them selling crystals and other esoteric stuff. Great food too. We were there May 2nd, and the most festive days of the year are May 1-5, so we arrived at a great time.
